The Town of Bayfield is requesting bids for hauling, furnishing, and spreading on various town roads, approximately 1,500 tons of ¾” Base Aggregate Dense conforming to WI DOT spec 305.2.2.1. Delivery must be at a minimum of 45 tons per hour. A current valid test needs to accompany all bids submitted along with the type of material being offered. Bidders must contact the town crew at 715-779-3481 before bids will be accepted. Sealed bids should be sent to: Town of Bayfield, Attn: 2025 Gravel and Hauling Bid, 85450 County Hwy J., Bayfield, WI 54814 or placed in the Town Hall drop box at the same address. Bids must be received not later than Monday, September 29th, 2025 at 5PM and will be opened during a Special Town Board Meeting on Monday, September 29th at 6PM. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
