TOWN OF BAYFIELD
REQUEST FOR BIDS
The Town of Bayfield is accepting bids for materials for an elevated boardwalk, 328 feet
long by 4.5 feet wide, through wetlands along the Salmo Lakewalk Trail. Bid proposals
are due by 5:00 PM on February 19th, 2026. Bids may be submitted via email to
[email protected] or hand delivered to the Bayfield Town Hall, 85450
County Highway J, Bayfield, WI 54814. Office Hours are Tuesdays 8AM-4PM. A drop
box is available on site. Please label the sealed bids “Salmo Trail Boardwalk Materials
Bid”. Go to www.townofbayfieldwi.gov for detailed bid requirements and project
information. Bids will be opened at the Bayfield Town Board Meeting at 6:00 PM on
March 9th, 2026. The Town of Bayfield reserves the right to reject any and all bids
based on the best interest of the town.
